    The project consisted in the definition of a legal and institutional framework, the determination of an environmental baseline, the development of a social and environmental impact assessment, the identification of potential mitigation of said impacts, the development of a Social and Environmental Management Plan, public information and consultations, determination of appropriate compensation for right-of-way expropriations, the preparation of a relocation plan, and, finally, submission of recommendations regarding training for the staff of government departments/agencies responsible for the environment.
